The City of Middletown welcomes you to our downtown and Business Improvement District (BID). In existence since 1991, the BID has worked to make our downtown a destination to Live, Work, and Play. From delicious restaurants to unique shops, our downtown has so much to offer.
In 2016, The City was awarded $10 million in grant funds through Governor Cuomo’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative, a competition design to help municipalities bring life back into their downtowns. Since then, Downtown Middletown has been undergoing a major facelift. The DRI projects are currently in the works. Come see the progress for yourself!
